Meeting Details for Seattle Church of Craft: The flock meets once a month, (dates below) If you have questions about meeting times, need directions, or you're curious about the group, please e-mail sisterbetsey@churchofcraft.org. NEW HOME FOR THE DAYTIME CRAFT-ON On Sunday, September 26, we'll hold our fall kick-off craft on in the gorgeous community room of the new Toshiro Kaplan Building! It's a big room, lots of light, chairs and tables, coffee and snacks are available nearby, and it's great for us to celebrate this fantastic new space! If you haven't already heard - the TK building is truly affordable housing for artists and their families! There are galleries and other arts-related businesses on street level. The address is 115 Prefontaine Place South. It's in Pioneer Square. I'll put a map on our Yahoo Groups page. We are so lucky because our dedicated Sister in Craft, Sally, is a new resident of the TK lofts! Yay Sally! Congratulations and thanks! As always, Children are very welcome to come craft or play at the daytime craft-ons. We're glad to set up a kid's table, and if anyone wants to organize an activity for the kidsto share, that's terrific. Bring drinks and snacks, and supplies to use and share. Alternating months, we meet at Re-bar from 6-8 for a Stitch and Bitch. Re-bar is at 1114 Howell at Boren. www.rebarseattle.com -- The Re-bar meetings are very casual, the bar is open, but the lights are on and the bartender is delighted to have our company. Unfortunately, children are not allowed in bars in Washington State, so leave your papoose at home. Bring your own extension cord if you need one. Bring whatever you're working on, or supplies to share. You may bring a sewing machine to Re-bar, if you so desire.
