Craft-On
Sunday, March 14th, 2pm
at Lettuce Knit
66 1/2 Nassau St. (just west of Augusta)
We packed Lettuce Knit with knitters, crocheters, needlepointers and chain-mail makers.
The conversation veered wildly from the newest yarns in the store, to how hung over I was, to
breastfeeding, to toilet humour. Hopefully we didn't scare away any customers.

We're a small (and growing)
grassroots crafty collective rebelling against the culture of
mass production. Not only are the things we create our own, but in this
glossy, fabricated world, the simple act of creation is transcendent. I.e., we make things because
it makes us happy.
