TORONTO CRAFT MINUTES

Church of Crafters for Street Knit

Sunday May 24
1:00pm

Trinity Bellwoods Park

Since knitting a scarf in one afternoon is too lofty a goal for most, when better to start helping keep necks warm in the winter than in summer?

This Sunday, June 24, between 1 and 4pm the Church of Craft is gonna host a knit-in for Street Knit (www.streetknit.ca) in Trinity Bellwoods Park. There'll be tons of yarn and a few needles on hand - but if you've got 'em, please bring your own needles.

Still just curious about the Church of Craft? I'll be around with some info at Crafternoon Tea this Saturday, June 23 at Nathalie-Roze & Co.(1015 Queen St. East) from 11am-5pm - This is going to be a great indie craft market with raffles and a charity tea party- oh my!

In craft,

Leah

We're a small (and growing) grassroots crafty collective rebelling against the culture of mass production. Not only are the things we create our own, but in this glossy, fabricated world, the simple act of creation is transcendent (i.e., we make things because it makes us happy).
