TORONTO CRAFT MINUTES

  Math & Crochet...Yay!

Sunday July 15
1:00pm
- 4:00pm
Nathalie-Roze & Co.
(Backyard)
1015 Queen Street East

Want to learn to crochet, but think you're too math nerdy? Scared of math, but want to learn to crochet? No problem! Becky Johnson (of Sweetie Pie Press) is going to teach us that math can make that dull old yarn look really pretty. Becky's also a fantastic instructor so if you've never handled a hook, have no fear.

Come out to Nathalie-Roze & Co.'s beautiful backyard garden at 1015 Queen St. E. on Sunday, July 15 between 1pm and 4pm.

Also, happening this same weekend - but on Saturday, July 14 - the Good Catch Dog Day Afternoon Craft Fair! Check out the site here - including the ever-growing collection of far-too-cute posters: http://www.goodcatch.ca /craftfairs.html

in craft,

Leah

Please e-mail thegood@churchofcraft.org for more information.

We're a small (and growing) grassroots crafty collective rebelling against the culture of mass production. Not only are the things we create our own, but in this glossy, fabricated world, the simple act of creation is transcendent (i.e., we make things because it makes us happy).
